My very own room

I finally have my very own room. Cookie actually thinks this is her room.

This is our entry way. Katie did the Welcome lettering on the arch way. You can't really see it but there is a camel on the entry way table that my grandpa stole from the opium dens in San Francisco when he got shore leave after the war.

open floor plan

These are the pictures of the kitchen/ dining area. There is a sliding glass door off to the left that goes into the back yard. Cookie loves her yard, but she really likes to escape. We thought we had Cookie proofed it when Doug secured the gate and plugged up all the holes she might be able to squeeze through in the fence. But NO!!! my cute little weiner dog figured out how to crawl under my stairs in the back yard wiggle along the foundation of the house to the neighbors yard and escape. She isn't the smartest because she just sat in their yard and barked until we came and got her because she couldn't figure out how to get back. Off to the right side is a pantry area/ laundry room. I got a really good deal on a new front load washer and Mom and Dad surprised me with the matching dryer as a house warming present. The living room has a glass fireplace that Cookie really likes. She will sit on her Princess Pillow in front of it and sleep for hours.

Here is Katie's new room. We painted the walls a really soft grey because my friend Tiffany told us to and she is always right when it comes to stuff like this. Katie had already picked out all the black furniture and new bedspread. As you can tell she loves giraffes (the other wall has another large picture of a mama and baby one). She has actually been keeping her room clean--hope it keeps up!!

Cookie waiting to move

Here is little cookie being very confused and nervous. All her furniture except the bed has been moved out and now she's afraid she'll lose that too. She was also pretty anxious that we might leave her behind.
